Core concepts
A few ideas explain how everything in Reignitor works. Learn these once and every area of the app will make sense.
Brands and brand kits
Section titled “Brands and brand kits”A brand holds your brand name, logo, primary colour, palette and fonts. This set is your brand kit. You can keep several brands on one account, which suits agencies and companies with more than one product line.
Your brand is resolved at render time. Reignitor does not paint your logo into a plan and leave it there. It reads your brand kit when each scene renders. So if you change your kit, the next render follows it.
On the canvas, your brand appears as its own node. There you choose where your logo sits and how large it is.
Flows and templates
Section titled “Flows and templates”A flow is a ready-made way to make one kind of thing: a UGC advert, a product ad, a stylized world, a set of product stills. A template is a finished example of a flow that you can copy and change.
You find both on Discover. From any card you can:
- choose Let’s begin to start the flow with an empty brief, or
- choose Use template to open your own copy of the example, with its scenes laid out.
The canvas
Section titled “The canvas”The Brand Flow canvas is where you plan and build an advert. It shows your advert as a graph of nodes:
- a scene node for each shot,
- nodes for your brand, product, presenter, narrator voice and background music,
- a Final Video node where the finished film appears.
A copilot panel on the right plans the advert with you. You can talk to it in plain words, for example “make the second scene shorter” or “add a close-up of the label”.
Scenes
Section titled “Scenes”A scene is one shot in your advert. Each scene has a visual description and, if someone speaks, a script line. Scenes can be different kinds:
- Video shots, made by an AI video model.
- Image stills, generated or uploaded.
- Presenter shots, where a presenter speaks your script with lip-sync.
- Motion graphics, animated type and interface panels rendered from code, with no AI video model.
Before any video is rendered, you shoot a storyboard: one still frame per scene. You check the frames, fix what is wrong, and only then build the advert.
Credits and the price shown first
Section titled “Credits and the price shown first”Actions that make something cost credits. Your balance is shown in the app.
The rule is simple: you see the price before you spend.
- Editing a plan is free.
- Shooting storyboard frames costs credits, and the app says how many first.
- Building an advert shows This render will cost with your balance before and after, and waits for you to confirm.
- If a scene fails to render, its share of the cost is refunded automatically.
- Downloading a render you already paid for is free.
For plans and credit amounts, see pricing.
Projects
Section titled “Projects”Every canvas you create is a project. Open Projects in the left menu to see them all, search them, and open any one back on the canvas. Each canvas also keeps:
- Versions: snapshots of the canvas you can restore. Reignitor takes one before every build.
- Renders: every finished video you have paid for.
- Generations: every frame, clip and render that canvas has produced.
The render queue
Section titled “The render queue”Renders run in a queue. While one runs, the canvas shows how many scenes are done, running and queued, and you can cancel work that has not finished. To check all your jobs from any page, open the render queue from the header of the app. The full Render Queue page lists active and completed jobs.
