Brands and brand kits

A brand is your logo, brand name, primary colour, palette and fonts, saved once. Reignitor reads it every time a scene renders, so adverts, motion graphics, image ads and training all leave on brand. Change the brand and the next render follows.

You can keep several brands on one account.

Open Brands in the left menu. It holds:

Menu item What it is for
Brands All your brands, with search and a card or list view.
Brand Generator Make a new brand from a name and a sentence.
Brand Guidelines Edit a brand’s logo, colours and fonts.
Guidelines Document A guidelines document you can hand to a designer or printer, and save as PDF.

The same menu also holds the image, logo and HTML ad tools. See Image ads, logos and HTML ads.

  1. Create the brand

Open Brands and select New brand. Or pick a look under Start from a template and fill in your own logo and copy.

  2. Import what you can

You have three quick ways to fill the kit:

    • Type your website address and import. Reignitor reads colours, fonts and the brand name from the site.
    • Import a brand guidelines PDF. Colours and fonts are read from the document.
    • Apply one of the example starting points, then adjust it.

Always review what was imported before you save.

  3. Add your logo

Under Logo, upload a PNG, WebP or JPEG. You can then pull a palette straight from the logo.

  4. Set colours and fonts

Set the Primary colour and add or remove Palette colours. Choose fonts from the font picker, which shows each typeface in its real letterforms.

  5. Save

Select Save. Every video you generate from now on uses this kit.

Use the Brand Generator when you are starting a business or a product line and have no identity yet.

  1. Open Brands, then Brand Generator.
  2. Fill in Brand name, What it does and How it should feel. Choose an Accent colour and a Typeface.
  3. Select Propose marks. You get four directions for a logo mark, described in words. Proposing costs nothing.
  4. Pick the mark you like. Select Propose again if none of them fit.
  5. Select Build with your brand name. Reignitor draws the mark, writes the brand kit, then opens your guidelines document.

Open Guidelines Document to see your brand laid out as a document: the mark, the palette with its colour values, typography and pattern. Select Download PDF to save it through your browser.

On the Brand Flow canvas your brand is its own node, Brand guidelines. From it you can:

  • choose where the logo sits on every shot, such as top left, top centre or bottom right,
  • choose its size: small, medium or large,
  • edit the brand colours, or open the full brand editor,
  • remove the logo from this one advert.

If a canvas has no brand yet, select Set up your brand on the node.

Products are saved with a name, a description and a product image, which feed video generation. Open Agency, then Products, to add them. See Campaigns.

  • Use one logo and a fixed palette. The fewer choices the kit leaves open, the more consistent every render is.
  • Keep a separate brand for each client or product line, so nothing crosses over.
  • Proposing logo marks in the Brand Generator is free. Only the mark you choose is drawn.
